Product Description
A perfect gift for new homemakers, the food processor has become an integral part of modern
cooking, speeding up a multitude of processes, including kneading dough, slicing, chopping, shredding cheese,
vegetables and meat, mincing garlic and parsley, mixing batters, and emulsifying mayonnaise. Cuisinart's Pro
Classic comes with a 7-cup work bowl, four basic attachments for slicing, shredding, chopping, mixing, and
kneading, and also features two feed tube options, one big enough to handle a whole potato. This processor comes
with a compact cover for use when the feed tube isn't needed and a pulse control that allows the desired degree of
fineness when chopping and puréeing. Remove the detachable stem for compact storage of discs. All the parts are
dishwasher-safe and the motor base wipes clean. In addition, a custom-contoured spatula, a 50-page recipe booklet,
and a 30-minute video designed to familiarize the new owner with the care and use of the food processor are
included. --Victoria Jenkins

"Excellent Addtion to a Gourmet's Kitchen"
By, Scott Trulock (Dallas, TX USA)
"For the size and the money, this is one of the better buys if you are looking for time- and effort-saving device
for gourmets.
This food processor can replace many other tools in the well-equipped chef's kitchen: Mandoline, Pastry Knives,
Potato Masher, to name a few.
Since I began using the Cuisinart, I have been able to make well-mixed doughs for perfect pastries
and breads, julienned veggies (with a separate julienne blade) for crudites, superb mashed potatoes and potatoes au
gratin, as well as many other dishes with a minimum of effort.
The only flaw of the Cuisinart line is the feed tube. While the multiple size feed slots make it
easy to push anything from full-size potatoes to drizzling oil to make mayonaise, it can be a major challenge to
clean due to the multiple crevices in the feed pusher.
Overall, however, the Cuisinart can make short work of the most complicated culinary endeavors,
with a versatility to match a whole counter full of manual tools."
"I love my new Cuisinart" By, C. Anderson (Bowie, MD) - See all my
reviews
"I have had this product just a few weeks, but it has already proven itself well worth the price I paid. I have
used it both for small jobs, such as mincing a couple of garlic cloves at a time, or dicing small amounts of onion,
as well as larger ones, such as making BIG batches of coleslaw. I even tried doing brownie batter in it (something
I never would have thought of had I not seen it demonstrated on the accompanying video--they must have made a ton
of these videos, since I can't imagine why else they would still be using that medium instead of DVDs) and I am
exceedingly pleased with how it has performed on those jobs.
The large-mouth feeding chute can be a challenge to clean, since you cannot entirely disassemble
it, but all it takes is a little bit of creativity to overcome that problem, based on what I've experienced so far.
The machine and its accessories appear well-built and sturdy, and the motor is very powerful--600 watts. Its size,
7 cups, seems just about right for my purposes. Time will tell whether the lid will hold up to regular use, but so
far this food processor has been a real a pleasure to work with.
One of the reasons I selected the Cuisinart Pro Classic food processor was the large number of
favorable reviews it has received over the years. Now I am adding my voice to theirs. Some critics complained that
it is complicated to use. I think that's more perception than reality, since it does look a bit complicated at
first. However, all you really need is to read through the instruction book and do a couple of practice runs with
the food processor. It's not rocket science by any stretch of the imagination."
"Why did I wait so long?" By, T. K. Wall - See all my reviews
"I had been putting off buying a food processor because of the cost, but finally decided the time was right. I did
a lot of research online and determined from the reviews I've read that I wanted a Cuisinart. This little jewel has
been wonderful! I can't believe I waited so long to buy it! It runs quietly and take care of every task fast! I
especially love it for making homemade salsa or pico de gallo. One container and hardly any mess. I didn't find it
hard to clean at all, contrary to some reviews. As long as you get to it before food has dried on it, it washes
right up. I really recommend this food processor if you're in the market for one."

"This one needs to stay on the counter top!"
By, Stephanie Manley (Eau Claire, MI)
"This is by far one of my favorite appliances. We all know the quality Cuisinart is known for. This appliance is
very heavy, and can do some work for you! I use mine for the normal, slicing, shredding, and chopping. This comes
with a great video that shows you all about your appliance. After watching this, I realized I can use this for
baking bread, you just pour everything in and mix, no kneading! I use this to make cookies, or whenever else, I
need something mixed in a jiffy. This is simple to clean. One of qualities that I enjoy the most is the no nonsense
design of this. Its easy to put together! All of the parts go into the dishwasher too. You can't ask for much more
than what this appliance will offer to you."
"I Love It !!!!!!!"
By, S. Hiranandani "preity" (Shrewsbury, MA United States)
"I recently started a catering business wihch involves making a lot of dough, was doing it by hand
and have blisters to show for it. Till now I thought a food procesor was unnecessary and bought this as it was on
sale. WOW! This machine has made my life so easy! All I have to do is add the flour and that water and it does the
rest. This is one thing that is going to be in my kitchen forver. Its easy to clean and to use, does not have too
many complicated blades or buttons and powerful enough to handle any task.
If you are looking for one that is simple and durable this is the one!"
"There isn't a better food processor out there!"
By, Rebekah L. Parris-mills (Ohio)
"For our wedding, my husband and I made the mistake of registering for a food processor/blender combo. After two
years of fighting with it, having it leak, and having the food processor leave food in large pieces, we finally
threw it out. In its place we purchased two separate units, with this being the food processor because it came
recommended by Consumer Reports. We couldn't have made a better choice. It does everything it should and more. We
have used it for multiple recipes and every time it does what we need. It's also easy to clean up... pieces fit
right into dishwasher. We love it."

Product Description
Equipped with an extra-large feed tube, a small feed tube, a dough blade, and slicing and shredding
discs, this 600-watt, 7-cup, midsize food processor provides all the power, versatility, and capacity needed by
most households. Cooks experienced with Cuisinart food processors will welcome the new feed tube and pusher
assembly, which are easy to use--at 4-1/4 inches by 2-3/4 inches, the large, oval feed tube accommodates whole
fruits and vegetables. The small, cylindrical tube is located inside the pusher assembly and has its own hollow
pusher, which removes with a twist. On the bottom of the small pusher is a pin-hole for dribbling oil into the bowl
while making mayonnaise.
The Lexan work bowl is virtually shatterproof and impervious to heat or cold. There's the familiar stainless-steel
chopping blade and a dough blade, which easily kneads up to 1-1/2 pounds of dough. Stainless-steel slicing and
shredding discs, a plastic spatula shaped for the work bowl, a recipe booklet, and an instruction video showing
basic use, tips and techniques, and preparation of some recipes from the booklet complete the package. (Existing
Cusinart blades and discs also fit this machine.) Cuisinart warranties the motor against defects for 10 years and
the remaining parts for three years. --Fred Brack

"Cuisinart DLC 2007N prep 7 7-cup food processor"
By, Lisa A. Ford (Rome, PA USA)
"I just love this food processor. I have been waiting a long time to purchase a food processor. I had another
cheaper brand food processor, and it was just terrible. This Cuisinart is just perfect. I will use it often I am
sure. Consumer reports rates this right up there at the top, and it certainly is. The 7-cup size is just perfect
for a family of two now. Glad I purchased this great processor."
"My new best friend!"
By, Bari Allen (Georgia USA)
"We've had this processor in the house for just about a month. The item paid for itself the first time I used it,
due to being a huge time-saver for my normally busy schedule (it enables me to try new recipes I normally wouldn't
have time to mess with). I've used it to chop & puree for several soups (Mulligatawny, White Bean, Gazpacho,
etc.). The shredding disk shredded a whole block of Manchego for Balsamic Portabello/Onion/Cheese Omeletes in about
a second. It shredded potatoes just as fast for a crust to a Carmelized Onion/Fennel Pie (of which I used the
slicing blade for the onions & fennel). I find the slicing blade to be a lifesaver for items I want to keep
"on-hand" for salads, sautees, etc. (like onions/bell peppers). This is my first food processor, and I wondered
about the learning curve--to which I found none. It is really easy to put together, as well as take apart &
clean. I'm also amazed at how quiet this thing operates. We had cheap mini-chopper for chopping onions, and while
the noise never bothered me, compared to this processor, it was obnoxious. I'm sure I could actually run this thing
next to sleeping humans without waking them! Thank you Cuisinart--I'm impressed!"
"What A Deal!"
By, Ernest Carrillo "Romans 10:13" (Las Vegas, NV)
"The Cuisinart Food Processor is excellent! The quality is great, the ease of use is wonderful and the price is
awesome. I went to a few stores looking at this same item to purchase for my wife and the price was much
higher. I saved a bundle by purchasing online:) and with the quality of Cuisinart - my wife thinks I am a
hero."
